Photography Refund Policy
Our goal is to deliver high-quality photography services and ensure every client has a clear understanding of the process, timelines, and deliverables. Because our work involves customized planning, creative labor, and allocated time, the following refund policy applies:
Project Deposits
All photography services require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date, begin planning, and allocate resources. This deposit covers pre-shoot coordination, location planning, and scheduling.
Refunds on Services
Because photography is a customized and time-based service, refunds are not issued for work that has already been started or completed. This includes, but is not limited to:
– Pre-shoot planning and coordination
– Location scouting or scheduling
– Travel, equipment preparation, or setup
– Photography sessions or shoot days
– Editing, retouching, or revisions
– Third-party costs incurred for the project
Client Delays or Non-Response
If the client becomes unresponsive for 14 days or longer, the project may be paused or the scheduled date may be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for deposits or work already completed. A rescheduling or restart fee may be required to continue.
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before any work has begun, a refund may be issued minus the non-refundable deposit. Once any pre-production, travel, shooting, or editing has begun, refunds are no longer available.
Dissatisfaction With Work
We provide revision opportunities within the agreed project scope, such as limited retouching or color adjustments. Dissatisfaction does not qualify for a refund; however, additional edits may be offered at an additional cost if they fall outside the approved scope.
Timelines and Scope
Refunds are not provided due to timeline delays caused by:
– Missing information or client-delayed approvals
– Client non-response
– Scope changes requested by the client
If the client expands the scope, additional fees will be quoted and agreed upon.
Third-Party and Production Fees
Any fees paid to third parties—such as studio rentals, location permits, equipment rentals, travel expenses, or talent fees—are non-refundable.
Final Deliverables
Once photos have been delivered, edited, transferred, or made available for download, the project is considered complete. No refunds will be issued after this stage.
