Postproduction Refund Policy

Our goal is to deliver high-quality post-production services and ensure every client has a clear understanding of the process, timelines, and deliverables. Because our work involves customized creative, strategic, and technical labor, the following refund policy applies:

Project Deposits

All post-production projects require a non-refundable deposit to begin work. This deposit covers project setup, asset organization, timeline creation, editing preparation, and early post-production tasks.

Refunds on Services

Because post-production is a customized service, refunds are not issued for work that has already been started or completed. This includes, but is not limited to:
– Editing footage
– Color correction or color grading
– Sound design, audio mixing, or cleanup
– Motion graphics or title design
– Visual effects or compositing
– Revisions or edits
– Third-party costs incurred for the project

Client Delays or Non-Response

If the client becomes unresponsive for 14 days or longer, the project may be paused. No refunds will be issued for deposits or work already completed. A restart fee may be required to resume work, depending on scheduling and resource availability.

Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client cancels before any work has begun, a refund may be issued minus the non-refundable deposit. Once any editing, preparation, or post-production labor has been completed, refunds are no longer available.

Dissatisfaction With Work

We provide opportunities for revisions within the agreed project scope to support client satisfaction. Dissatisfaction does not qualify for a refund; however, additional revisions may be offered at an additional cost if they fall outside the approved scope.

Timelines and Scope

Refunds are not provided due to timeline delays caused by:
– Missing assets or incomplete media delivery
– Client non-response or delayed feedback
– Scope changes requested by the client
If the client expands the scope, additional fees will be quoted and agreed upon.

Third-Party and Production Fees

Any fees paid to third parties—such as software licenses, plugins, music licensing, sound libraries, or VFX tools—are non-refundable.

Final Deliverables

Once drafts, edits, exports, or final post-production files have been delivered or transferred, the project is considered complete. No refunds will be issued after this stage.
